LC Soccer & GCRC Partner in HS 6v6 Summer League |
|

LC Soccer and the Goose Creek Recreation Commission have partnered to create a youth soccer summer league for high school age players. The program is a 6v6 developmental league geared to keep players 14-18 active during the summer months.
The purpose of the developmental league is to involve more teenagers in organized soccer. "We hope that local clubs will see this as an opportunity to offer U15-U18 teams to players that do not have the money or time (due to job and other commitments) to play "travel soccer" that demands 2-3 practices per week and traveling throughout the state on Saturdays." says Kenyon Cook, LC Soccer. LC Soccer believes there is a demand for more older players to play club soccer in a more localized league that would enable players to continue to grow their skills and level of play.
