This past weekend 68 youth teams from the ages of U6 - U18 took part in the first annual Lowcountry 3v3 Challenge at Charleston Southern University. Teams came from throughout the metro Charleston area representing different soccer organizations: Mt. Pleasant SC, Bridge FA, James Island YSC, Summerville SC, North Charleston SA, Goose Creek Rec Com., and some from out of town: Long Bay SC (Myrtle Beach), Hinesville SA (GA), Thunder United (GA), and the Greenville Eagles.

LC Soccer would like to thank all of the players, parents, coaches, referees and Charleston Southern University for a wonderful weekend of soccer and fellowship.

The two day event was a qualifier for the Challenge 3v3 Nationals (July 31 - Aug 2, 2008) at the Disney's Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, FL. We wish those going to the 3v3 Nationals the very best.
