On Saturday, May 3 at Patriots Point (36) boys and girls teams in the U9 - U12 age groups finished their spring seasons while competing for the (9) LYSL division championships at stake. Five (5) clubs came away with championships: Mt. Pleasant SC (5), Summerville SC (2), James Island Youth SC (1), Blue Crab United SC (1) and Charleston United SC (1).

Boys U9 Gold:
JIYSC Attack over SSC Arsenal 3-2 in OT
Boys U9 Blue:
SSC Assault beat NCSA Galaxy 5-2
Girls U10 Gold:
SSC Spartans defeated MP Maroon 4-1
Girls U10 Blue:
MP Beat won over MP Fury 3-1
Boys U10 Gold:
MP Strikers overcame MP Maroon 4-2
Boys U10 Blue:
MP Arsenal were victorious over NCSA Blue Devils 3-0
Girls U12 Gold:
MP Cougars handled JIYSC Hooligans 4-0

CUSC Kraze nudged out Long Bay 2-1 in PK's

The LYSL declared the Blue Crab United Fire champions of the the U12 Boys Blue division after going undefeated (8-0-0) and scoring (50 goals) and only allowing (4). The next (4) teams competed for 2nd and 3rd place. MP Crew 1 beat MP Crew II 3-1 to take 2nd place.

The LYSL would like to recognize all of the wonderful boys and girls for a great performance this season throughout the league.
