Partnership Creates the Region’s Largest 3v3 Soccer Community

Dallas, Texas - The WORLD SOCCER Tour, one of the nation’s largest 3v3 Soccer Tours, and Lowcountry Soccer, the coastal region’s leading soccer event management company, today announced a partnership to grow 3v3 soccer in the southeast. With more than 40 events planned in 2010 for the WORLD SOCCER Tour and over 10 events planned for Lowcountry Soccer, this partnership connects two like-minded companies to create one of the world’s largest 3v3 soccer tours.

The announcement comes after partnering on an event that kicked off the 2010 WORLD SOCCER Tour on December 12, 2009 at Lowcountry Soccer’s Lake Norman 3v3 Winter Cup. The partnership will enable Lowcounty Soccer’s players and teams from GA, NC, SC and VA to participate in a national tournament series and the WORLD SOCCER Tour’s World Cup event in Myrtle Beach on August 6-8, 2010.

Launching in four states where Lowcountry Soccer has localized communities, the WORLD SOCCER Tour will provide thousands of soccer players the opportunity to participate in the national tournament series. The addition of Lowcountry Soccer will give the WORLD SOCCER Tour more ways to easily connect with the soccer community in the coastal region and create a strong base of active 3v3 players for the tour’s World Cup Championship. In addition, Low Country Soccer will pilot and manage the Champions Cup Series debuting this summer. The Champions Cup Series is a state championship tournament for states hosting multiple WORLD SOCCER Tour 3v3 tournaments.
