"Growing Soccer & Fellowship in the Lowcountry" 

Welcome to the Lowcountry Soccer League! 

The Lowcountry Soccer League (LSL) will make its debut this summer in the Charleston area. Its primary purpose is to provide adult soccer leagues in an environment that encourages fellowship amongst teammates and between teams. The LSL will service the tri-county communities and will seek out facilities with organizations that have similar philosophies.  

In the more popular divisions and whenever possible, the LSL will offer a South and North Conference structure to facilitate travel time of teams and players that reside in either the North Area (Sum, NC, GC, MC) or in the Charleston area (WA, PC, JI, MP). There will be some inter-conference play during the regular season; however both conferences will come together come playoff time.  

The founders of the league are Kenyon Cook and Neil Veloso, who pledge “energy and passion” to grow area wide adult soccer programs for both the recreational and competitive player. The LSL will also be a strong proponent of the international game.

 “Soccer is truly a game for life! It is a healthy activity that promotes fellowship, teamwork and physical well being.” 

We will also provide our league members with a website that will allow players, teams and fans to keep up with all that is going on in the LSL.

         This summer the LSL will kick things off with 6v6 soccer:

         “Six Players, Half the Field & Twice the Excitement”

       (2) Men’s divisions: 1st, 2nd

          COED Open division

In the fall, the LSL will launch its Sunday (11v11) leagues. Plans are to offer Men’s Masters (Over 30), First and Second divisions. We will continue to offer mid-week 6v6 leagues based on demand and field availability.
